Hi, I'm Brittany—the founder of Glamp Camp for Girls. In 2021, I invited a group of strangers from the internet to join me on an organized glamping trip.
Surprisingly no one got kidnapped (LOL) and it became the beginning of an awesome community of travelers. I created Glamp Camp based on the way I love to travel: thoughtful itineraries, beautiful destinations, a little adventure, and plenty of comfort.
These retreats are designed for all kinds of women—whether you're just starting to explore the outdoors, you're a seasoned camper who prefers a cozy bed these days, or you're simply looking for other women to travel and make memories with.
My favorite part of hosting these trips over the years has been the incredible mix of women who have joined. Every retreat brings together people from different backgrounds, ages, and experiences, yet they all share a willingness to try something new and connect with others.
At its heart, Glamp Camp is adult summer camp for women—where adventure, connection, and a little nostalgia meet the comforts we all appreciate. I created these retreats to make the outdoors feel more accessible, approachable, and fun, whether you're a seasoned camper or someone who has never slept outside before.
Every trip is a little different, but the goal is always the same: to gather around a campfire, explore beautiful places, try new experiences, and build friendships along the way.
Sometimes we're glamping in canvas tents with cozy beds, other times we're staying in tiny cabins, Airstreams, or unique accommodations that bring us closer to nature without sacrificing comfort. Because there isn't just one way to camp—and there definitely isn't just one way to glamp.
Right now, our retreats are primarily based throughout California, with thoughtfully curated itineraries that showcase the best of each destination. From scenic hikes and outdoor adventures to local restaurants, wineries, and unique experiences, every trip is designed to help you discover a place like a local. We hope to expand to new regions in the future, but for now we're focused on sharing some of our favorite corners of the Golden State.
